Well dear readers, it’s been at least five days since I’ve graced these pages, I hope you are still out there and visiting!
To make up for the absence I thought I’d share this lovely outfit with you. For regular readers you’ll know I recently stumbled upon a lovely vintage petticoat at a local Melbourne flea market.
Not being able to resist the frou frou nature of the skirt I bought it and took it home where it has been residing in my cupboard longing to be worn. I just wasn’t sure how to wear it without looking a/ like a 6 year old, b/ like a 20 something tragic trying to look like a 6 year old, c/ Carrie Bradshaw. And I adore SATC don’t fret, just given the hype surrounding the movie I have been a little reluctant to go out in public wearing it.
I digress, the most obvious solution was to wear it under something, but I felt it had to be something special so what better option than another item that has been a little lonely in my wardrobe since I wore it as a bridesmaid 6 months ago.
I think it’s just a perfect match, don’t you agree?
