One week of: Autumn Dresses

Welcome to my new studio friends! I’ve had plenty of changes happening here since Singapore: the blog format, a new job, new studio and the flu which gave me plenty of time to reflect on the direction of Lady Melbourne.

The overwhelming response to the change in format has been enthusiastically positive, and while I’m sorry that some of you don’t like the change, as with most things in life it was inevitable. Blogger was a fabulous CMS as a starting point, but going into my fourth year blogging meant that it was time to graduate to wordpress and a format that could support my content. And let me tell you, after four years there are over 3000 photos and almost 700 blog posts to present!

Rather than shooting things in my lounge room part of the change has been moving to a new studio with beautiful natural light and a super minimalist background which is just perfect for the kind of photography I like. I hope that this will enable me to present cleaner, sharper imagery, peppered with the lifestyle photos I know that you all love. I need to give a big shout out to my friends over at A Piece of Paris who have helped me out with the space, it is as lovely, light and fresh as they are.

I’d like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continuing support and readership of Lady Melbourne, I am always aware that the blog wouldn’t be what it is without you, the readers.

Now that all the formalities are taken care of, lets get back to the task at hand: One week of autumn dresses. I realised with the change in weather in the last two weeks that I was wearing dresses that had been packed away for a year. I also realised that I have been wearing dresses that I wore in summer with opaques and trench coats, so this week I will attempt to bring you one week of autumn dresses. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do wearing them!
