After the fact…

Normally I punch all of your details into a ‘random name picker’ and post up screen shots of the competition results, but for last weeks Oscar Oscar package give away I actually chose the name myself.

LoataBavadra  you are the winner of the package simply because I could hardly believe that a day after giving birth you were back reading blogs, and mine no less :) What an effort that’s all I can say! Just email me with to collect your prize.

I took this photo after doing my nails like this before I went to Singapore and I’ve had loads of request to post up   better pictures.

This is how I achieve the look:
1. Buy a packet of plain acrylic nails
2. Use masking tape, Avery labels, stickers- basically anything that you can fashion into the half moon and stick onto the nail.
3. Paint the nails a colour of your choice.
4. Once dry peel off the half moon sticker.
5. Glue onto your own nails.
6. Paint on a top coat once the nail glue has set.

That’s it!

You can shape the nails before you paint them, some packets come already shaped so you don’t have to worry about it. It’s much more simpler than you think and will easily last you minimum 2 weeks with a little TLC.
