Lulki love

One of my dear friends runs the Melbourne based label Lulki, who after 3 years is shutting it’s doors. This coming Sunday they are hosting an afternoon tea that you might have seen mentioned on the blog, with a sale that should put a smile on anyone with an penchant for handbags and accessories.

I first met the creator Dagmara in 2003 when we were budding designers showing our wares at a fashion market called Sweet Vinegar. Since then she has gone on the stock in boutiques like The Dressing Room Emporium, Tilka and Green With Envy to name just a few. Lulki which means ‘doll’ in Polish was started in 2008 and showed just what talent Dagmara possesses: attention to detail, superb sourced vintage fabrics and the finest leather.

If you would like to be part of the Lulki story and bag yourself part of Melbourne fashion history before the doors close (on sale no less!) make sure you come along to afternoon tea on Sunday, complete with a candy buffet. Mmmmm!
