Cooling off

It certainly makes my job easier when you come across back grounds that compliment your outfit, particularly when it’s cold and the light is low. I’ve come to learn plenty about photography in natural light which really stems from starting off with a digital camera in my lounge room and owning no other equipment. I’m not a huge fan of flash photography either but I think you can get more emotion from using natural light.

What I’m wearing:
Dress: Current season Zara
Leather stud bag: Siricco
Lucite cuff: Minty meets Munt
Watch: O’Clock
Pearl earrings: Bead shop which has since shut down
Heels: Verali
Square ring: Turkish jewellery shop
p.s- I did my own hair(well, I always do!) and learnt how to do the fishtail plait or reverse braid by watching YouTube tutorials. God bless YouTube!

Wow! I wish I could style my hair in this way. My hair is always a let down in my appearance unless it’s blow dried or straightened… Either of which only happens if I’m invited to a wedding!

Wow, Lady M — this is stunning!

The straight lines of this frock are very flattering, and the nude shoes elongate your legs. Very well put together.

A now the hair… WOW. It is a whole new level of brilliance! LOVE! The height and volume it has is perfection, and the fishtail braid is adorable. I love nothing more than a chic updo, and you have completely nailed this one.

    Now, off you youtube…

    xo, Lisa.

I love this timeless look, from the silver rings, to the studded handbag.
I also love the scene since i live next door to the railway, where the picture was taken.
I love the thought which has gone into this look, but mainly the hair puts the icing on the cake.
