Under a setting sun…

This week has been rather eventful what with Blogopolis on the weekend and then my trip to Bendigo. I’ve since taught two classes at the CAE and then done my usual blogging/styling/running around thang. If you missed Blogopolis then you can check out what was said on my panel over at The Blog Stylist who amazingly transcribed the whole thing. Wizard fingers! I found it so enriching to be in a room with 300 other bloggers to share tips, experience and knowledge. I unfortunately had to jet off to Bendigo for the opening of The White Wedding Dress and didn’t have time to catch up with many of the new faces around, hopefully that will all come together at the next one.

Today was unusually warm in Melbourne for winter which I think took everyone by surprise. Aside from shooting it just for the blog, I didn’t think I’d have a chance to wear this dress for another couple of months but wore it all day. And when I say wore it all day(some of you are probably thinking, ‘ah, what else would you be wearing?!’) as the weather changes in Melbourne in the blink of an eye you may be able to wear something in the morning and find yourself freezing by the afternoon. That’s where the famous Melbourne layering method’s come from.

What I’m wearing:
Linen blazer: Wayne Cooper
Dress: ASOS
Coral necklace: Lovisa
Gold necklace: Vintage Chanel
Platform wedges: Payless Shoes( who would have thought Chanel and Payless in the same sentence!)
Bag: Vintage Valentino I picked up on Etsy, you can read all about it here
Bracelet: I made it
