How Will Invisible Zinc Benefit Your Summer?
“Sponsored by Nuff Nang”
Sun protection has been an ongoing message in terms beauty regimes that I’ve pushed on Lady M over the years. Whenever I’m asked for beauty tips or how I keep my skin in shape the answer is simple: SPF 30+
Enter Invisible Zinc ESP Moisturiser SPF 30+ and UV Silk Shield Foundation SPF 30+.
I’ve been testing both products this week and the good news is in: you will not look like something out of the Mikado after rubbing it into your skin. The ESP Moisturiser flawlessly absorbs and does just what the label says it does. It’s white and thick when you apply it so I was a little skeptical, but after letting it absorb into my face, neck and the back of my hands (never forget or neck or hands!) it was light and felt like I had bare skin.
The Silk Shield Foundation is a high coverage cream-to-powder stick but sets quite lightly which I liked. I don’t like makeup that looks like I’m wearing ‘make-up’ so it was nice to find a new product that sat lightly on my skin. It didn’t wear as long as my usual foundation but I suspect that’s more to do with it being a shield rather than a cream.
I simply do not leave the house without 30+ on my skin. This is my beauty regime year round, I just apply it more broadly in the summer months when my skin gets more exposure to the sun.
In partnership with Invisible Zinc I’m sharing the love, so for your chance to win the following:
1x Tinted Daywear SPF30+ 50g
1x Junior Clip on SPF30+ 60g
1x ESP Moisturiser SPF30+ 50mL
1x Silk Shield Foundation SPF30+ 15g
Simply leave me a comment on this post telling me how Invisible Zinc will help you get through summer.
Good luck!

SUCH a pretty picture of you.
I have used moisturiser with SPF since I was 15 (currently 37) and I reckon I look younger than both of my sisters who are seven and 11 years younger than me!
Regardless of the time of year my daily moisturiser contains SPF 15 which I always start my day off using. I found it quite difficult however, to find a SPF 30+ moisturiser to wear under my makeup without leaving my skin feeling heavy. Invisible Zinc sounds like a perfect solution, a lightweight, non-greasy formula perfect for wearing under makeup all year round and especially throughout the summer months.
Oooohhhhh I am always looking for a good sunscreen. Being a super pale redhead I have always had trouble with burning easily, but I can’t stand greasy sunscreen so I avoid the sun and stay indoors. So Invisible zinc would help my summer by actually allowing me to leave the house and also will let me set a good example to my extremely pale children (who always wear sunscreen and ask me why I don’t).
I would LOVE some invisible zinc. I have very fair skin burn very easily. Currently I use the thick, heavy duty sports sunscreen because I am so concerned about getting burnt. That stuff feels so disgusting and greasy on my skin!
I would really appreciate the opportunity to try a heavy duty but lightweight and nongreasy cream – invisible zinc sounds perfect!
as a pale redhead who cant bare the thought of being freckly or sun damaged sun protection is very important to me, but not all products really protect you. would love to find a product that really offered coverage, seems like this might be it.
I have really fair skin and burn easily especially during the summer months. Invisible Zinc sounds AMAZING especially since I like to wear some make up out and it wouldn’t look or feel like I have sunscreen on too! Hook me up!
I don’t actually own any sun protection products *the horror*!! Having mid-tan skin I never thought I’d need any but now I’m in my early twenties I’ve become more aware of how the sun affects my face and skin and it’s not pretty. Am definitely in need of some invisible zinc!
Invisible zinc will allow me to actually go outside this summer. Along with my hat and long sleeves of course.
A good sunscreen is in need,
especially for those who have skin that needs a good feed.
Invisible Zinc will help throughout the summer times,
what a great product as it will bring bliss and sublime.
This product will sure to bring,
the feeling of no makeup on your chin.
The brand itself speaks for its name,
Will make all of your friends feel jealously of your fame.
Enjoy the sun without any fear,
have the makeup and sunscreen in your bag all year!
Please Lady Melbourne give me the pack,
as it will help me keep my skin on track.
I’m as pale as they come, so this would save me from burning! (simple but true)
What a perfectly appropriate giveaway for this time of year.
It’s the festive season- so not only will the invisible zink protect my pasty skin from the sun while I am sipping champers at the many outdoor bbq’s I plan to attend…it will also help hide the red glow I get whenever I drink said champers.
The family will think it was lemonaid and I will be able to get through the festive season without paying too much attention to the family feuds.
Win win!
Hi, living in queensland, looking after my skin is essential.
Would love to give these a go!
Invisible Zinc will benefit my summer as… shock, gasp, horror… I actually don’t wear sunscreen everyday and as a result, have a red nose to rival Rudolph all year round! Save me LM, save me!
Last year I used a sunscreen and a moisturiser cause I couldn’t find one I liked, it would be great to use the invisible Zinc one.
My Mum told me don’t smoke or tan and your skin will be fine – she is currently 55 but has skin like a 40 year old
Due to my big move interstate to Perth on Boxing day!!! I’ll be exposed to insane weather, we’re talking 40 degrees! As a girl from Tassie I sure as hell need some help adjusting!!
I’m running low on my face sunscreen of choice (the amazing Lise Watier physical block), which isn’t available outside Canada. My options are either to have my sister ship me a giant box of it, or try something like this!
I love Invisible Zinc’s tinted zinc!!! I picked it up by chance a few months ago and was instantly converted!!!
I’m always looking out for new sunscreen products, especially with SPF 30. I usually only apply in the morning under makeup, so something high SPF and makeup compatable would help out this Summer.
Being of Irish descent with red hair, I absolutely need high powered sun protection to prevent my skin turning the same colour as my tresses! Invisible Zinc would benefit my summer by allowing me to participate in the same outdoor activities as my friends without constantly looking for shade or wearing uncomfortably hot long sleeved garments. It would liberate me from my fear of the sun!
Great post Lady M!
My skin is super sensitive to the sun, so in Summer I have to be wearing sunscreen or zinc EVERY time I leave the house (I blame my fair skinned family!). Invisible Zinc seems like the perfect product for me. Great sun protection without looking like you’re plastered with sunscreen!
I’d love to try it out.
Bonnie.
xx
With irish & freckly/burny skin, Invisible Zinc will protect my skin all day long!!
xx Steph
It’s fantastic to see people not ‘embarressed’ to wear and talk about sun protection, good on you for being super stylish and also spreading the word!
I usually avoid going out in the sun because I know I should be wearing sunscreen but have found that all the products I have tried have a really heavy odour, are thick and greasy and make me break out. I’d love to trial a product to make me change my mind.. Great review LM, definitely food for though..
Keeps me being pretty, pale and perfect rather than fried , freaky and flakey!
I want my skin to last me till my old age!
It’s sad to say, but I look like something out of The Mikado already! Although my Mum says it’s beautiful to have pale skin… but that’s her job isn’t it!?
A little gift pack of sun protection is exactly what this pale faced lady needs!
oooh, being one of the unfortunate ones with rosacea, this will stop me from bizarrely shade-hopping from tree to tree on even the shortest of routes.
You look beautiful! I will definitely consider trying these out, I have always been really lax about caring for my skin sun-wise but I think it is time to start being more careful.
I have once before endured the stress of having a mole carved out of my leg and then waiting for the test results. This experience has cemented the importance of sun protection into my head. But having just moved near the beach I still want to have fun in the sun… I think these products will ensure I do so safely and without the risk of looking like a leather bag at age 50.
Thanks for such a thorough review of these products. I have been wanting to try invisible zinc but hate the feeling of sunscreen on my face and looking like a greasy blob! so now that you say it absorbs easily I will be trying this out. Before now I have worn tinted moisturiser with SPF15 but think its important to have 30+ My hubby has recently had a melanoma on his scalp (under hair) removed which has obviously been a most stressful time for our little family…we just have to hope now and be thankful that we caught it in time. A product like this would be fantastic to try out!
I use the kids invisible zinc on my little girl all the time, but this big freckly girl needs some protection too!
Summer to me is all about goin to the beach, getting ice creams and sitting on the grass, talking to friends enjoying each other’s company.
With invinsible zinc, I wont have to go home burnt this time around.
opps… invisible. spelling error
Invisible zinc will help me get through summer as it will help me avoid the feeling of my face sliding off due to hot weather, along with make-up transfer on mine and other peoples clothing.
I’m always after a new way to protect my skin from the harsh Australian sun. Invisible zinc could help me achieve my annual aim of not getting burnt during the summer months.
Sunscreen is so necessary in Australia! This will help protect me from not getting burnt & I love that it has a tint too for a hint of colour
being a queenslander, zinc is a must for the summer season. I have never tried the tint however. I am tempted to go and try it now
I work as a wedding celebrant and am spending more and more time outdoors marrying my beautiful couples. But i need protection from the sun and I think invisible zinc would be the answer!
This would have saved many embarrassing family holidays where we’d arrive at the beach covered head to toe in thick white sunscreen that gave you an almost purple tinge. It would also save my country bumpkin status at university!
I currently plaster my 30+ zinc sunscreen on every morning and do indeed end up rather pale faced! This stuff sounds like a dream, I would love to try it and reduce my ghostly appearance ; )
With summer fast approaching what a great time to give this awesome product a try!
Well coloured zinc’s not too cool when you’re 25 so I guess this will be the perfect replacement!!
no excuse for getting a burnt nose this summer with a product like this!
We do need to be very vigilant when it comes to suncare. I’ve never tried Invisible Zinc, but I’ve heard it’s really great. I’m often out in the sun on yard duty in my supervisory role as a teacher!
Take care

With Invisible Zinc, my summer memories will be all about fun and adventure and not those prematurely aged skin. I can have fun in the sun without the burn!
As someone who has been known to burn through inferior sunscreen, invisible zinc sounds like a skin saver!!! perfect for letting me venture outside into the sun!!!!
Now that my daughter is a beach bunnie I am spending most of my free time at the beach. I would love to try the invisible zinic range.
Pale skin, fries easy in Qld (plus my medication causes me to burn faster too). Invisible Zinc will help me this Summer by enabling me to enjoy some of the great outdoors and shop to shop sojourns knowing I’m covered, literally!
I burn so easily in the sun – I’m as white as they come – and like you I slather on the sunscreen and layer with products containing sunscreen every day. I’m determined not to get melanoma or become a wrinkly leathery old lady!
Ooh, yes please. I’m absolutely a sunscreen addict. Sunburn is one of my greatest fears.
this sunscreen will help me to keep the freckles from my skin, and prove to the sun although we’ve had a love hate relationship since my birth, that i am stronger than you!
As the sort of girl with ivory skin that only has to look at the sun to have lobster-style sun burn, I’ve been wearing Invisible Zinc since it’s early days, and I swear by it. It keeps my skin looking fabulous and wrinkle free, and I know it’s doing a great job, as every dermatologist I talk to tells me what fabulous condition my skin is in!
When subscribing to Grazia earlier in the year there was a gift with purchase which was a sample size of Invisible Zinc Tinted Daywear and ESP Moisturiser. I have used the Tinted Daywear so much lately e.g. when i can’t be bothered putting on proper foundation and also to look semi flawless whilst on the beach. The ESP Moisturiser i use religiously under my foundation. These two products are close to running out and receiving them again will definitely be super handy to get me through the hot months.
