Beauty Review: Natio

*this is not a sponsored post. I love and use these products everyday and get asked about what make-up I use so decided to share.

My Natio makeup collection....and climbing!

Clockwise from top left: Berry Beautiful makeup pallet, Pure Mineral Face Illuminator,  Pure Mineral Eye Brightener, Blushing Rose Blusher palette, Berry Beautiful lip colour in Velvet Berry, Mineral blusher in Pink Apples, Natio Blusher Brush

I think I started to use Natio products some time last year and in particular a little pot of mineral powder that makes my skin glow but is now discontinued. They’ve relaunched the product as a creme which is just as delightful even though I’m measuring out what’s left of the powder!

We can sometimes get into the trap of thinking overseas or luxury brands are somehow better than what is produced locally and I certainly wasn’t immune from that way of thinking. If I’m completely honest with you the make up pallet sat unused for a while until I needed to take my make up with me and shoved it into my handbag.

I’ve literally not stopped using it since however. I have sensitive skin, I can’t just use any old product but that aside, it’s the quality, pigment and luminosity of the products that I love.

Natio was founded in Melbourne in 1993 as a family run business based on plant based beauty products. The products are not tested on animals and most products except the brushes are vegan friendly. Rather than spending money on fancy packaging and promotion they focus of getting the product right.

Pure Mineral Face Illuminator  which replaced the powder and keeps my skin literally glowing. I also use the Pure Mineral Eye Brightener which looks great in photos.

My 'face' wearing Natio make-up

I can’t speak highly enough of this local beauty brand and what it does for my skin, now you know what keeps me looking good in my photos!
