Every now and again when I am shopping, or if I am offered to try a product I think to myself, ‘Why not step outside your comfort zone Lady M? Why not choose something that you think you would absolutely NEVER wear?’
It’s risky right? I mean you can more often than not end up with a dud choice. Australian label ‘The Horse‘ who are a husband and wife team from NSW offered to send me a pair of my choice and I think I’ve hit a little gold mine.
I bought a pair of blue suede heels last year and they have sat unworn, but perhaps because these are a shoe/boot and create a completely different vibe are just so wearable. 100% leather including the sole these are the ‘Hermine‘ in the photos but they also have a range of styles encompassing summer to winter.
I sent through some interview questions because I was just so curious about who the people were behind the label. I’ve not had a reply as yet but I have a vision of these uber cool, hipster-esq(in a good way) glamour couple who live in an amazing minimalist house in the country with a spaniel. Maybe with a retro vibe…the house not the spaniel.
Anyhow until I meet them one day I shall wear my ‘Hermine‘ and continue to make up stories about the type of people that might wear ‘The Horse,’ or the mysterious couple behind the label.
