There are times when you need a special frock and some jewels for an occasion, for some people it might not happen that often, for others every other weekend is an excuse to dress up.
I knew that I wanted to go to some really cool bars while I was in Hong Kong, and while I did just that I also loved discovering the Lobster Bar at the Island Shangri-La where we stayed with its old fashioned, American feel complete with baby grand piano and jazz band.
I whiled away a couple of hours sipping on Manhattans and generally feeling pretty damn glamorous in this dress from St Frock that was a fabulous modern take on the LBD.
I took the jade that I already owned in the form of the necklaces you see me wearing for this trip, but this outfit was capped off with the earrings and ring by Australian label Garland Row Jewellery. The Burmese Maw Sit Sit Cocktail Ring in Silver and the earrings were a very special and unique touch, and I very purposefully paired the jade and saw stones with and all black ensemble.
All round feeling pretty special.
