I’ve decided to launch a new gratitude project after attending and speaking at the ProBlogger Event 2013 over this weekend just gone.
I was really inspired by a couple of stories I heard on gratitude and realised that while it’s something that I practice every day in my life, it’s not something that I share very often. I like that it’s private, it’s not something that has to be shouted from the rooftops but I also know that it’s something that can be really powerful when shared. I know I love to hear other peopleβs stories of gratitude myself, and so I’m going to launch a new weekly segment called ‘Big Love Monday.’
I can’t do this without you however, so each and every Monday I will post about something for which I am grateful, and I’d love for you to share in the comments section what you are grateful for too.
It doesn’t have to be anything monumental either, this week I’m grateful for cups of tea for example. Not solving the worldβs problems with this one (!), but tea is a daily ritual for me and it’s the first thing I do when I get up in the morning. I walk downstairs and put the kettle on before I do anything else.
I find that I can sit down and have a moment to myself over a cup of tea, to think through what I want to do that day. And I’m grateful that I have the time and that moment each day.
So now it’s over to you, what are you grateful for this week?

I am so extremely grateful and thankful everyday for having found my soulmate who accepts me for exactly who I am and makes me the best person I can be <3
Hi girl π
What a fantastic idea π
I give thanks to the rain…or is that a bit corny….
Have a great day
I’m so grateful for taking a leap of faith in 2012 to launch my administration and design microbusiness (Earth & Sea Consulting). I love that I attract clients who deeply resonate with my business’ values, and I’m eternally grateful for the journey that I undertake with each client’s project.
Thank you for starting this segment Phoebe! You are amazing π
I am deeply grateful for nature to bring Spring back to my backyard – bursting with colours, flowers, buds, bees and birds. And I am handing out potted plants I created to my colleagues who happen to live in flats.
Great idea to share grateful-ness π I aim to look at what I am grateful for each week, so this will help me do that! So absolutely grateful to LM for starting this π I am grateful this week for my staff & team. I could not hope for a better group of ladies to work with who are as passionate as I am about brows & lashes. They remind me everyday that there are good people in this world.
Gorgeous idea LM. I try and thank the universe each day for all the wonderful things in my life. It’s when things go a bit awry (as you prefaced above), that I try and find gratitude the most! I am grateful for my health, being a part of a beautiful coastal community and my exquisite daughter and husband.
What a great idea LM! I love it. I’m grateful for so many things, but today, as I wait for my wonderful model to come for this week’s web shop shoot, I am very, very grateful that I get to work with wonderful people who share my vision.
I’m so grateful for my friends and family – to know that so many of them would be there for me no matter what, and love me no matter what is the most fantastic thing in the world! Thank you for reminding me of this! π
I’m really grateful for all the people I met at ProBlogger, especially those that I was able to really talk and engage with. It was heartwarming how generous people are with their time, stories and knowledge – you included.
I am grateful for my friends. I had a lovely visit from an old friend this weekend, it’s so nice to catch up with old friends who live far away and realise good friends are never far from your heart.
Thank you Annette!
So lovely, thank you Maryam x
Great idea! Today I am grateful for pockets of community I have found online. Had an excellent conversation today with people I haven’t met but share commonalities with.
I am also grateful that I took a new step in my search for paid work, just a little one, but I did it!
Thanks Lady!
So grateful for having a warm place to wait out this cold rainy day in Sydney. And grateful for my baby girl Aysha who just turned 6 months!
Thank you Leisha x
Thank you for sharing Bianca!
Whoa, amazing! And you ARE doing that every day Jo, I know that you inspire me with self acceptance every day.
So beautiful Meredith, thank you so much for this! I watched a video today of my beautiful dog Mully who died a couple of years ago but while he was alive gave the family so much joy. He certainly was able to put life into perspective just by looking at you with his big brown eyes.
I love this idea, I am grateful for my best friend who is coming home from LA for Christmas. ( I also am grateful for my dog and tea π )
Reconnecting with a friend after two years…it is wonderful.
What a great idea LM. Our lives our so busy we don’t tend to stop and think about what we are grateful for. I am grateful that in my work I have found my passion and purpose which is to guide woman to self acceptance and assist them in finding their own unique personal style. And I am always grateful for my first cup of tea each day. Jo
I am grateful for the unconditional love of my black dog, Astro. Every day he wags his tail hopefully in the expectation of a walk or a play. Even on those days when I am unable (or unwilling) to oblige, he still looks at me with adoring eyes and keeps wagging that tail, and the next day he greets me in the same way, no hard feelings. I can’t help but feel happy when I see him.
