Today I attended High Fashion, High Tea at the Park Hyatt here in Melbourne to round out Melbourne Spring Fashion Week.
It was a great way to end a hectic week of parades, showings and parties, but I loved every moment of it, specially seeing the Carl Kapp parade.
I will update this post with photos of the event, but I thought I’d share what I wore very quickly to start the week. The last time I went to this event I wore jeans, not really knowing how formal it would be. I felt really under dressed when I arrived however, so today I thought I’d frock up and make sure I was wearing hot pink at that.
I picked up this little vintage number when I was in New York, it’s pure silk and I think I’m going to get plenty of wear out of it over spring/summer ahead.
I haven’t had an occasion to wear my beautiful Glomesh bag in a while, so that got dusted off(not literally, none of my bags get dusty!) and worn because I think it’s a fairly appropriate bag for high tea.
