CHANEL held a private view of ‘Second Floor’, a photographic exhibition by Sam Taylor-Johnson at Saatchi Gallery of Mademoiselle Chanel’s apartment at 31 rue Cambon, Paris earlier in the week.
From the hallowed mirrored staircase leading up to the apartment, Sam Taylor-Johnson has captured Gabrielle Chanel’s intimate world in a series of 34 photographs, artfully immortalizing objects and furniture that were so treasured by Mademoiselle Chanel.
The exhibition is located at Saatchi Gallery, Duke of York’s HQ, King’s Road, London, and will be open to the public from September 12thto October 4th.
Free admission. Open daily from Monday to Sunday, 10.00am until 6.00pm.
