Listen you guys, I’ve never worn a leather, or pleather, skirt and I never thought I would – until there was a mix up in my order and I ended up with this in my shopping cart. “No problem,” thought I, “if it doesn’t fit or I don’t like it I’ll simply give it away to someone who’ll love it”.
When it arrived I tentitively unwrapped it, slid it over my hips and did up the zip. And then I kind of fell in love.
While it’s my job to see a lot of ‘new’ fashion, I don’t always try it myself, and I guess I thought a leather skirt wasn’t really ‘my thing’.
But you know what? Knowing how to dress your shape is more important than what you think is actually your style. So while I never thought I’d wear a leather skirt, this nipped in at the waist and had a gorgeous sunray pleat that flattered my curves just perfectly.
Next stop leather pants?!
