GLOMESH is an Australian heritage label, founded in Sydney in 1958 by Hungarian immigrants Louis & Alice Kennedy. The unique metal ‘mesh’ fabric has seen the brand become renowned internationally and copied many times over, it’s height of fashion being the 1970s and 1980s here in Oz.
It’s undergone a makeover in recent years, and while the ‘Alice’ bag isn’t available, the current range is nothing short of gorgeous and worth getting to know if you’re interested in Australian fashion history.
