Lunch with Georg Jensen

Picture this: you roll up to an impeccably appointment mansion in the posh part of town to hear the tinkling of a grand piano wafting through a 15ft black lacquer door.

Within you’ll find invitees of Georg Jensen, here to celebrate a collaboration with Heemskerk one of Australia’s premier wineries. This collaboration celebrates the ultimate union of creative minds; Heemskerk designers, Margaret Nolan and Rowena Curlewis from Denomination and managing director for Georg Jensen Living, Louise Langkilde have together ventured outside of their usual categories to pair Danish jewellery and home wares design with the finesse of premium Australian sparkling.

Chyka Keebaugh of The Big Group (and Real Housewives of Melbourne fame) was enlisted to style the table with a Christmas theme and she told the group that given we were there to celebrate this collaboration, a silver, black and white theme seemed perfect.

It truly was a glimpse into how the other half live (not a half I know anything about!) but the good news is that anyone can purchase the sparkling wine complete with George Jensen stopper for only $35. Not a bad price to pretend for a day 😉
