The Style Mafia ‘Renew’ top, or as I like to call it, the one with epic sleeves.
It’s hard to know whether bell sleeves have had their fashion moment in the sun, but every time I wear this people ask about it and in the main part where they can buy it. More on that later!
It occurrred to me that this was beginning to be a thing in my wardrobe – the statement sleeve. I popped something up on Instagram last week about a new top from St Frock that sports flutter sleeves with black bows, you can read the blog post here. I was reminded of about four other tops in my wardrobe that had a similar thing going on. It’s an old trope that most people just buy different versions of the same thing and always thought I was immune. One of my friends owns 20 breton tops. ‘They’re all different!’ she cries when we talk about it.
I’m not up to 20, but I think I can now admit that statement sleeves are a thing for me.
