Mmmm yes Furla

Furla Babylon wallet and card holder

Furla was one of the brands that I ignored for years thinking it was mumsy (I am a mum), boring or god forbid: not fashionable. And then I needed a new wallet and thought, look, be sensible and get a lovely Italian leather number.

That’s where Furla entered my life.

It’s more than a lightbulb, its like a firework has exploded in my brain because these products are not only seriously beautiful, they’re actually quite fashionable. In fact, extremely fashionable, with a long heritage to boot.

Did you know for example that it was established in 1927 by Aldo Furlanetto in Bologna and its head quarters are in an 18th century villa, the brands historical headquarters? Me neither!

Did you know that it still owned by the Furlanetto family, with all leather goods being made in Italy? Me neither!

There’s actually quite a bit to learn about this under-the-radar luxury label but the main thing to know is that the products are superb quality. So far I’ve got a wallet, card holder and bag pom-pom, but a nice little satchel is on the wish list.  Do you do that kind of thing? Find a label or a brand you love and buy multiple items? I’ve always been more of the type to shop around and have variety in my accessories, but I might just feel a long time loyalty coming on.

Yep, just gonna watch that wish list grow!
