Wearing Keshett Jewels

Diamond antique tennis bracelet from Keshett Jewelers

“I never worry about diets. The only carrots that interest me are the number you get in a diamond.”
― Mae West

And with that, last week the Diamond Guild of Australia had its jewellery awards night and yours truly was invited as a guest. But what to wear? Diamonds! Where to get said diamonds? Keshett, one of my favourite Melbourne jewels and antique dealers.

My engagement ring is from Keshett and I really love their focus on art deco jewellery. That said they have Cartier estate diamonds, Victorian lockets and 60s style bracelets to name but a few. When I emailed through with my request of ‘HELP ME!’ Paula Keshett welcomed me into their Block Arcade boutique to select some jewels.

It was very special and I totally get why some women just love dripping in jewels. I think if I was super rich I’d wear diamonds and pearls and gems every other day of the week. Why not?!

These were returned within 24 hours, but can live on in pictures below. If you’re in Melbourne aside from Keshsett the Block Arcade is absolutely worth a visit for it’s heritage mosaic floor and vaulted ceiling. Did I mention they’re opposite the famous Hopetoun Tea Rooms? Scones, tea and diamonds – what more do you need?!
