As Editor of Melbourne based fashion blog ‘Lady Melbourne,’ Phoebe Montague’s fashion commentary and style has earned her a reputation as one of Australia’s key fashion bloggers. Having founded Lady Melbourne in 2007, the blog has grown to include a social media reach of over 50K unique likes, fans and followers across platforms like Twitter, Instagram and Facebook.
Phoebe emerged as an 18-year-old from Northcote High School determined to become a fashion journalist. She completed a fine-arts degree, ran her own fashion accessories label, spent some time in the design arts in London working with Jean Pierre Braganza and Lara Bohinc. She then went on to a postgraduate degree in journalism at RMIT to round out her training.
Aside from the blog and freelance writing assignments she teaches blogging, social media and journalism at the Center for Adult Education(CAE) here in Melbourne and guest lectures at RMIT.

Who takes your pictures? I do! I have two tripods and three cameras. A Canon 60D DSLR camera is my main camera but I also use a Canon 1000D DSLR. From time to time I use a Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ10 digital camera as well.
Who did your layout? Me! As part of my studies I learnt how to use Photoshop.
Where do you shop? Mostly in Melbourne, Etsy, eBay, vintage sellers, op-shops, designer outlets, when I travel and markets.
What did you study? I have a BA Fine Art (Drawing) from RMIT and a Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism also from RMIT.
Who does your hair? I get my hair done at Oscar Oscar salons in Melbourne.
