Now that autumn seems to have finally set in here in Melbourne, I can pull out boots, gloves and scarves that have been packed away for a year. It’s by far my favourite time of year because I do like to accessorise an outfit(!) so the fact that you can add so much more everyday makes getting dressed a lot more fun.

i used to not understand it when ladies say they like winter/autumn because they get to dress up much more than during summer. but after staying in europe for half a year, i’ve finally understood that. it’s constantly cold here, and women here really dress to impress on the streets; it’s quite inspiring actually. im heading back to melbourne in august (!) and i cant wait to dress up for winter there…first time im saying that!

a question… i have a engagement party to attend in a couple of weeks and i am think of wearing black sheer stockings with my dress. should i stick with opaque thights? the last time i saw black sheer stockings my mum was wearing them, but i think i would like to give them a try…
