o, the last few days have been rather busy but I have plenty going on this week. I wear this necklace all the time but I don’t always post about it, I’m not sure why either!
It’s from here, I suppose it caught my attention because of the new SATC 2 film that is almost about to drop. Are you going to see it? Last time I asked when the first flick came out I recall there was a bit of a backlash, coupled with the die hard fans who’d watch SJP wearing a paper bag for two hours. I sadly fall into the latter category and can’t wait for the film to premier here. Thoughts?

Kate: I’d love to know what happened to PB to. I emailed her the day her blog went private asking for access as I loved it, but never got a response, which is unusual as she was always so polite.
I can’t wait for SATC, given the number of times I searched the web for photos of it’s filming and times I’ve loved watching the trailer I know I’ll like it regardless

I very much look forward to SATC coming out. I think critics just need to give it a break, SATC was never meant to be about philosphy or deep&meaningful, it’s just a great laugh – coupled with great clothes (who cares if they are designer or not, you can always take an inspiration from the style and reproduce it from second-hand clothes)…. That’s my take on it anyway.

As for the movie, yes will see it, however think the whole SATC thing has been turned into a 2 hour billboard. Definately prefer the series for fashion moments.
I’m kind of looking forward to it, but I am going in with very low expectations. I loved the series, particularly the eps where Carrie wears $10 vintage dresses, paired with M.Blahniks – fantastic. However, the last SATC movie did nothing for me – too much constant ‘brand placement’ and designer gear – not very imaginative. Patrica Field is a genius, so hopefully she goes back to her roots stylistically with this new movie!
I am looking forward to seeing the movie even though I think it won’t be very good. I am just worried that the movies will starting crapping all over everything that was great about the tv series.

i have a name necklace (with my actual name on it) but i got it before i had ever seen any SATC… people always ask me if i got because Carrie has one and i dont think they totally believe me when i say no.
i was actually inspired by the movie ‘Honey’ staring Jessica Alba and got my mum to get the necklace made for my 18th 🙂

I’ve got a name necklace too; from Lady Petrova’s lovely store. It’s white acrylic, says “cake” in Helvetica and is one of my favourite necklaces! Interestingly enough, there were two on display that day, mine and “lady”. I couldn’t decide between the two so I bought the other one for a friend.
Ironically, I’m more excited to see SATC2 than it’s predecessor because it hasn’t been as hyped up as the last time. I think that was one of the main reasons why so many were disappointed.
