Glow in the Dark

y skin that is, you know its truly winter when your skin is this pale! We are having some delightful sunny days at the momentย so I won’t complain because I rely solely on natural light for my photos.

It’s been a long weekend here and mine has been spent mostly socialising so there isn’t a huge amount of fashion news to report, except that I took a tour of avid op-shoppers around Brunswick on Saturday courtesy of Melbourne Op Shop Tours.
I think it’s fair to say that it was a fun time had by all, if you are in fact interested in me showing you around inner city Melbourne then let me know because I’m thinking about doing another one.

  1. Pale skin beats fake tan every time… lovely to see real, natural skin rather than more of the terrifying terracotta brigade that seem to inhabit Brisbane regardless of the season ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. Love love love your top is so classic..great outfit

  3. great hair – i’m not sold on opshop tours, though – they give away all our secrets!

  4. Love those sleeves.

I’m all for the pale skin, beats the orange glow of many who can’t work out that less is more when it comes to the fake tan.

  5. this blouse is totally amazing! i love it and i really likee your skin!

  6. Love this outfit.. very lady like. And I know what you mean about the pale skin, but at least it’s a good time for red lipstick.

  7. Loving the hair! And the outfit is fab!

  8. Melbourne op-shops are happy days ๐Ÿ™‚ I miss my university-era pilgrimages; I think my wardrobe was so much better back then!

  9. That’s a very swish outfit Lady Melbourne!! And I think another op shop tour would be a fantastic idea ๐Ÿ™‚

  10. Your outfit is very posh and glamourous (:

  12. PS – to Camille, an op shop is short for opportunity shop – second-hand clothing, charity goods, etc.

  13. I second that on the hair! Would love to know how you did it (I actually used your bun practical to great effect) but alas, I fear mine won’t be thick enough for this one.

  14. LOVE that photo with the b&w background – so cool!!! Meanwhile I really don’t think your skin looks pale!! But then again maybe I’m so pale myself that I wouldn’t even notice!

  15. aaaaaaaaaaw i LOVE the hair! could you show us how it’s done? pretty pretty please, with sugar on top! ๐Ÿ™‚

  16. What is an op shop?

  17. No… not glow in the dark complexion… luminous skin! You look lovely as always.

I was being practical Saturday morning, getting thermals for good prices on Smith St… op-shop tours sound much more appealing!

  18. Very glam and austere all at once. I share the albino pain… more sunscreen for us, but less pain (and certainly fewer wrinkles, I hope) in the future.
