arlier in the year when I did the story on the value of op-shopping for A Current Affair I met Jenny from Melbourne Op Shop Tours. One thing led to another and before I knew it we’d organised our very own ‘Lady Melbourne Op Shop Tour of Brunswick.’
I’ve been thinking about doing something like a walking tour of the city, or a shopping tour so it seemed fitting that they would offer me my very own tour of inner city op-shops.
Here are the details, there are extremely limited numbers so get in quick! If you miss out, Jenny will try her best to accommodate you with another date so make sure you email her.
When: Saturday June 12th
Where: Brunswick(details of actual shops confirmed once booking is made)
Time: 11am-3pm
Cost: $45 per person
The cost includes coffee and cake at a lovely hidden little cafe so if you are visiting Melbourne, or just want to do the tour to find out more about your home town I guarantee there is much more to this tour than just charity shops.

The only decent thrift store we have in Singapore is Salvation army! I wish we have more of these Op stores ! SIGH. We really need to build a culture of reusing and recycling!

With your move to a ‘studio’, I thought you’d lost some of your charm. What I loved was that sneak peak into your life. Now, it feels like I’m looking at a modelling folio, rather than the blog that Lady Melbourne was once was!
