ast week I was invited to Sportsgirls roadshow to preview their summer collection for 10/11. It was the usual mix of chain store basics and nothing really caught my eye except for the accessories so basically this post is about shoes.
Perhaps its Melbourne Street Fashion’s influence but I found myself far more interested in the people at the event and those sitting front row than what strutted past me on the catwalk.
As it was an event for staff only there was a veritable bevy of beautiful, young, extremely well styled women- as in 200 of them. I do like to people watch so for me that was the highlight, as were the shoes.
Behold…

You look so devine and maybe yes you should be rockin that catwalk. I’m kinda over the wedgie and the clog look. Although one exception to the rule would be Miss Sea of Ghosts who seems to rock the wedgie look by making it her own.
Sleekit x
I haven’t felt my feet for years, so the higher and chunkier the better!
can’t wait the time for summer…
and for longer hair!!!! Love yours,
you look so classy.
As usual!

I really like the blk shoes with Buckels & studs they look feet friendly. I normally don’t like that really chunkie look, but their very nice & no one needs the breaking down of the feet do we ladies !!!
You look fantastic and I really respect that your honest and professional. While I shop at sportsgirl pretty frequently… its easy they don’t really offer anything inspiring or unique. But thats cool.
Love the honesty – very refreshing. Thanks LM!

I will continue to rebel against suede wedges and clogs. Unflattering ickness. The clothes look a little ‘samesame’ was there anything aside from teeny skirts? Your hair and makeup look perfect, Lady.
The opening ceremony/cloggy shoe would be my pick for Summer. Love you make up!
the shoes collection looks very nice.
Oh my. That’s made me so excited about Spring now. x
Looking chic as every Lady M!
Those shoes are gorgeous xoxo
I would climb mountains and slay dragons for a decent pair of shoes but these were a little underwhelming. Something about the cut is off, not sure exactly what.
I think your dress was the highlight of the clothing. And I agree people watching is far more fun 🙂
LM I love your hair on first pic. and love last shoe.. its cute..
Shoes look very uncomfortable.
Love your hair LM.
xx
Unfortunately I don’t like the shoes 🙁
Lady Melbourne you look absolutely stunning in the first shot! Love your makeup, outfit, jewellery. Everything! I agree the shoes are gorgeous. Nice post!
