I remember this photo being taken but I wasn’t really sure where it was going to turn up. Thanks to the wonders of Facebook I was tagged in an album that I can’t actually see, but get to see this at least. My dress is about a year old, I bought it at Barkins. Mother Melbourne mostly made my hat from scratch and by hand, I can only take credit for sticking on the flowers and the veiling. Otherwise there is 8 hours of stitching on my head!

The hat is just lovely! I always like to make my hats as well… so much better than turning up at a race day/wedding in the same hat as someone else bought from DJ’s 🙂
