have to admit that I am a little bit behind with outfit posts for this week so I’m hoping to make up for it with a couple of posts today featuring what I’ve worn.
L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival is coming up shortly so I’m starting to think about what I’m going to wear. This DVF dress that I picked up on Etsy should go down a treat. I might have to re-think my heels because, er, I can’t walk in them. I don’t really fancy being fashion road kill outside the parades- although it would make for a hilarious blog post. Ha!
I was going to buy a whole heap of new clothes to wear, but I’ve realised that that might actually be the reason I never have any money- wardrobe’s(yes, plural) full of clothes but I don’t own a car.
With that in mind I have a heap of vintage dresses in block colours that I just adore, so I was thinking that I could wear said dresses every day during LMFF, made modern with accessories/shoes/bags.
That’s my plan….at this stage…

I read your post yesterday and thought I didn’t need anymore clothes for events coming up but I couldn’t get one damned black silk shirt out of my head. So I had to get it and an Arnsdorf skirt. It was on sale so by spending money I actually made money…

The colour and pattern on that dress is divine. Aaahh the shoes are lovely too, but yes you don’t want to be stumbling around during Fashion Week.

Oh Lady M, you sum it up perfectly. Whenever I have a big event coming up I buy a new fancy dress to wear, only to remember I have about 20 fancy dresses hanging in my wardrobe unworn and I really should wear them instead.
One day we’ll own cars…
