Last night I attended the gala opening of The Spirit of the Little Black Dress showing some of the most original work in Australian sustainable fashion.
Now in it’s third year (you might recognise it if you are a long term reader) tonight was really quite an achievement for an event that promotes sustainability and eco-fashion. Not a saggy hemp sack in sight, tonight showed that with a bit of patience something truly inspiring can be created that would be at home on the pages of any glossy.

Me and Dan from Dan Jones.
Anthony Capon from A.Concept with parter Greg
Kyra from Pyrbus PR.
Designers Samantha Lilian Koval & Cristina Tridente

Last week I tweeted about a dream I had where Alicia from Sea of Ghosts and I were at the gala wearing Subfusco dresses. Josh then sent us both dresses in the mail(note to self: must tweet fashion dreams more often) and as I already owned one and couldn’t decide I wore, well, both! It was a rainy night here in Melbourne so it all sort of came together. THANK YOU Josh and Subfusco for making me feel like the Prom Queen!
