Just when things were getting sun shiny and happy on the blog I accidental produced these rather dark pictures but have decided to post them anyhow. I had a different idea in mind for these, in that I wanted a lot more light on the dress but as we’re in the middle of winter I don’t get a huge choice about natural light each day.
Some days it’s grey, some sunny and it’s generally overcast so you work with what you have.
I figured that the pearls would really stand out against the black, and even though I don’t wear them as often as I used to I still have a definite soft spot for them. They’ve featured so much on these pages since I bought them back in 2008 from Primark in London.

I too love pearls! I have quite the selection – varying size & colour, you can make them look ‘lady like polished’ or something a bit more modern, depending on what you pare them back with.
Also loving the makeup you’ve done with this look.
