Winter is really setting in and with that my wardrobe got changed around the other day and anything remotely ‘spring’ was put away. I like to have all my clothes on display but it’s just not possible space wise. One day I’ll own Carrie’s walk in wardrobe from the first S.A.T.C movie!
I’ve eyed off the garage before- one wall for shoes, one wall for bags and central racks for clothes organised into categories. Then tables with draws for accessories and mirrors everywhere. Don’t tell me you haven’t thought about your fantasy wardrobe before!!
I haven’t posted them all at once but I managed to get a great haul from the Episode garage sale a couple of weeks back. Basically you fill a calico bag for $20 and this military anorak was one of the items I stuffed in. It’s only once a year so you’ll have to wait until next year for the Β next one, but I was pretty stoked to find this jacket because I’ve been after one for a while but couldn’t bring myself to pay up to or over $100 for an affected version from a chain store. You know what I’m talking about.
In other news I got an email today from Belinda from sheinspires.com.au telling me I’d been included in their list of Australia’s top 20 fashion blogs. I’m in really superb company and read all the blogs on the list so it was a real honour. Check them out- clearly Aussie girls can rock fashion blogs like no other.
What I’m wearing:
Dress: Zara
Boots: Payless
Anorak: Episode
Gillet: Vintage from Savers many years ago
Pearl ring: Lovisa

This is probably my favorite outfit post of yours ever. I love the hard edge and the addition of the fur. The colours and tones in these shots are really lovely too.

What a cute outfit. I love the shape of the dress.
Love the stark urban scene but is that real fur?

Gorgeous! Love the different backdrops of your photos! I need to get some Zara too! x
This is an awesome outfit. Everything is styled so well together.

Picture me, in a perfect Californian accent giving a long, drawn out ‘That is SOOOO fetch!’
Having serious wardrobe envy over your anorak. Anorak’s used to remind me of middle aged women with no fashion sense who harp on about the benefits of form over function and fashion frivolity yadda yadda. Totally digging the khaki green though, super for feeling like an urban shopping centre warrior! Yar!
(I don’t think this comment makes any sense)
Just when I think you’ve done my favourite photos/post…you go and do another!
Love this outfit Lady M, another winner.
Hot outfit, very high fashion. Styly
Wish I was wearing this outfit today. Love it!
Loving the way you styled the gillet and the anorak, very inspirational. The weather is horrible I have to strategically plan my time when going to and from the car so I don’t get wet!
Loving the gillet, eye makeup and you have fantastikkk skin but you already know this π
I have to change my wardrobe round too and lots of it IS unceremoniously chucked into a spare cupboard in the garage… the Japanese call the practice of changing wardrobes with the seasons ‘koromogae’, I started having to do it when I lived in a tiny apartment in Tokyo!
Lovely in tour winter outfit , love your boots π
