Summer Sun: Wearing Freepeople.com

October was a month full of events for me and I sort of feel like the business of photographing myself and the world around me fell by the wayside. Even I’m sick of seeing photos of myself at the races or some sort of fashion event.

So even though I still have the cold from hell(hence the VERY LARGE sunnies) I hauled myself off the couch today inspired by the sunshine streaming through my windows. I thought I’d take my new ‘Miista’  heels from Freepeople.com for a spin. You see about a month ago they sent me a voucher to use in preparation for shipping to Australia for a flat fee of $7.95 which is less than I pay to get things shipped within Australia usually.

I spied the Sam Edelman Metal Shimmer Loafers which incidentally I’d had my eye on for a while so I picked those up but still had a little left over. I hopped over the the sale page and found these Miista Naia leather heels on sale for $48!! I could hardly believe it so added those and as you can see, below is the result. If you take a look through the website some of you will be thrilled to know that they sell a great range of Jeffrey Campbell shoes, the only reason I didn’t go for them is because they turn up on blogs the world over and I wondered if it would be a bit predictable. Plus I wasn’t sure I’d be able to walk in them!

I had a great time shopping on Freepeople.com and found that even though the styling is quite directional, there was something to be found for everyone. Plus I like it when you don’t get ripped off with international shipping so I’ll be back! I think my next purchase will be these Sam Edelman leopard babies….
