Man I really, really love Diane Freis vintage dresses. This is my third and I have another two that I’m um’ing and ah’ing about at the moment. They offer so much- colour, pleats, clashing prints, sashes, frills so that there is sort of something for everyone. I’m hoping to meet with her when I visit Hong Kong in January- that would be the ultimate interview for me!
I understand completely that they aren’t everyone’s cup of tea, but then I’ve never worn what everyone else wears and you don’t come to these pages to see me in a pair of jeans do you?!
These darling shoes arrived today from Shopbop.com right in time for the festive season. They are by British label Alice and Olivia and I’ve only really known about their clothes not realising they do superb accessories. They’re 100% leather and made in Brazil but more than that they are silver and they are GLITTER. Enough said.
What I’m wearing:
Dress: Diane Freis from Etsy
Belt: Op-Shop
Cuff: Myer accessories department
Coin necklace: Turkey
Crystal necklace: Imagination on Swanston St
Heels: ‘Giselle’ by Alice and Olivia
Nails: Shellac in ‘Tropix’ from Miss Fox

Lady M, your dress is nice and all that. But why, oh why, would you encourage me to look at Shopbob so I find myself drooling over a pair of $800 shoes when only this morning I declared, ‘I’m going to take a break from buying shoes’ to everyone who would listen?
