I’ve seen some great things while I’ve been up here in Sydney for Blogopolis and it is always a delight to pop in to see my friends at Mother & Father PR.
Last year they were very kind and dressed me for Spring Fashion Week here in Melbourne in Roxana Zamani as well as some pieces from An Ode To No One. Below is the latest collection that was shown at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Australia earlier in the year.
The latest collection is a beautiful blend of cityscapes in digital prints on structured, silk panels. It is beautiful, wearable, sophisticated and I just loved every piece.
Mother & Father also look after Skin as well and these were my pics: Ladylike with a bit of edge. Perfection.
And finally I really couldn’t leave without showcasing these bespoke pieces from Jaime Lee.
Jaime Lee crafted two dresses for Kimbra at the ARIAs. One, which was worn during Kimbra’s performance with Gotye, is a show-stopping gold lace fishtail dress with hand beaded Swarovski Crystals. The second is a lilac and gold party frock, which was made for Kimbra to wear when accepting her awards which you can see below. Yes the prints from an ode to no one are amazing. Its a shame the print collaboration with Helm has not been credited.
