Fringe Benefits: Oroton ‘Serene’ leather tote

Hands up who has $800 to go out tomorrow and spend on a handbag? I hear the wind blowing through the trees, I hear crickets chirping, I hear you collectively say, ‘Not me.’ Well, not for me either, I don’t have $800 in general so when I saw that Oroton were having 75% off store wide at their DFO store, I kind of thought to myself, ‘Le sigh, ‘store wide’ probably means off that pile of wallets sitting in the corner.’

Well, it didn’t. It literally meant 75% off the retail price of every single item in the store. I wasn’t there to purchase a handbag, but I couldn’t leave with out the ‘Serene’ leather tote in cream. I’d seen it last season, loved it, but as mentioned previously didn’t love the price tag. It came down to around the $200 mark so by employing my mad fashmatics skillz (price + cost-per-wear= fully justified purchase) it seems like the right thing to do.

Now I can’t afford to pay my parking fine this week but you know what? Life’s too short not to own beautiful hand bags.
