This winter I am getting around the house in a pair of Kimberly boots from Canterbury Sheepskin.
I’ve written before about the fact that I think there are certain items that shouldn’t leave the house. Ever. Like Crocs, tracksuit pants and ugg boots. That’s not to say that you can’t wear them in the comfort of your own home, just so long as they don’t cross the threashold that is your front door.
And of course I wear ugg boots, I live in Melbourne which is freezing in winter and there is nothing more luxurious than a pair of beautifully made, fleecy lined boots. I love them.
Canterbury Sheepskin footwear, apparel and accessories are proudly made in New Zealand and since it’s inception in 1974, the company has developed a reputation both locally and internationally of having a brand which is synonymous with luxury, comfort and sustainability.
The impressive collection of slippers, boots and garments are hand made by a team of artisans in its Redwood factory in Christchurch. A great deal of time and effort goes into making sure that the finest materials available are used. The sheepskin twin face that Canterbury Sheepskin use is of the finest quality, with luxuriously dense wool and fine suede. Many of their slippers and boots have removable insoles, which gives you the benefit of replacing them and will make your boots or slippers feel like new again.
The newly introduced range of “Sheepskin Wellingtons”, with a PVC ankle boot unit, a lambskin insole and sheepskin shaft mean that you can get around in them past your front door, and I know that when I was in New York for example they are loved by locals who wear them in the depths of winter pounding the snowy pavements.
So, do you love a great pair of sheepskin boots to keep you warm in winter?
Canterbury Sheepskin are giving one lucky Lady Melbourne reader a chance to win a pair of your choosing to keep your toes warm this winter.
All you have to do is:
Visit the Canterbury Sheepskin website and take a look through their range.
Leave a comment on this post telling me what you would love to win.
That’s it!
Competition closes Friday 16th August, 5pm AEST. Winner will be chosen and published on www.ladymelbourne.com.au.

The 1341 Kimberley boots in chocolate are lovely enough to be worn outside the house, as opposed to my very daggy house ugg boots.
The Ashley is my sort of boot – flavour of eskimo for a mountain winter.
They are awesome! Would definitely be an upgrade from my $8 big w pair haha. The 1320 Julia boot is my fave 🙂

Feet cold as ice, chilled to the bone,
All I can do is sit and moan.
The older I get, the more I feel cold,
If you move you’ll feel better, so I’m told,

The 1320 Julia are gorgeous!!! I would love to have a pair to call my own and keep my tootsies warm and toastie!!!!
apart from these glorious boots, I also love the AVA. I cant get passed the warmth and style 🙂
Adore the Robyn boots. I live in sheepskin slippers in the house but have never had sheepskin boots to wear out. I have wide calves so these low boots would be perfect. Also I’m off to Canada in a few weeks so Canterbury Sheepskin Boots would be great to pack for the cooler weather!
Now that it’s winter time in Australia,
Keeping my toes warm is my ultimate agenda
I would love to have the 1717 Artica
And be stylishly ready for the camera.
Canterbury Sheepskin makes the best boots eva,
It lives up to its promise, it will never fail ya!

Kimberley Boots in Chocolate would help warm them,
But what about my nose…?!
I would love the Black Oxford Tall, could wear it anywhere, footy, shopping, school drop offs and even when I go to New York for christmas
You have got a good taste, the chocolate colour Kimberley boots are the best. I would love to give them to my daughter who is a Melbourne lady like yourself.
I love the Kimberley boot in chocolate, warm and practical with a touch of glam!! I can see myself wearing these outside, much more stylish than ugg boots!!
I love the Robyn Boots in Chestnut; they are ideal to wear with jeans.
The Sabina – it’s waterproof and warm. Perfect for this cold rainy Sydney weather.
It’s FREEZING in Melbourne at the moment! My feet and I would love the 1341 Kimberley in Chocolate with extra warm 75001 Boot Insoles inside! 😀
Tassie winters, nothing worse,
Cold and wet, it’s like a curse,
Tootsies get so cold and sad,
Kimberley in Chocolate would make them glad!
1717 Artica in the chocolate are perfect
I love the Tara…great to wear to the shops (sorry I know this breaks your golden rule, but i think I’m a bogan at heart 🙂

1748 Ava Chestnut is a bit gorg.
Ava Size 9 – Style, comfort and my daughter’s name to boot! 🙂
My wife would adore the kimberley boots.I’m thinking these are the ones your wearing in the photos. They look very warm
Artica Boots look great. Warm feet and comfort is what I want!
Love the Julia boots. I love ugg boots that can be worn out under my jeans plus are easy to get on and off so I can hang out the washing in the morning without freezing my toes!
Wow, such amazing quality and style! I would just LOVE some Kimberley boots in the chocolate colour. My ugg boots have had it so I’d really super love these.
Wow they sure do have an impressive range of boots. So hard to pick a favourite! After much deliberation I chose the 1342 Ashley. A couple of years ago I invested in a gorgeous pair of sheepskin boots while vising Melbourne. To my absolute horror they were destroyed shortly afterwards when a friends dog took a liking to them. 🙁 Having said that, they weren’t nearly as fashionable as the Canterbury Sheepskin’s Ashley.
Warm hands when i walk my puppy would bliss – SNOW MITTS look fantastic!
Need to keep my feet warm,
For Kimberley boots the crowds swarm.
No cold feet around the house,
Toasty like the live-in mouse!
Definitely the Kimberley boots would look very stylish on my feet. Great to keep my toes warm through lots of Winters.
Kimberley in chocolate…
Would suit me fine
On Early morning school drop offs
For my warm bed I wouldn’t pine
I love them all, the Kimberley is my favourite. They would be ideal to keep me warm when I visist my mum, who lives at the foot hills in the High Country.
The Oxford low, classic and understated 🙂
I would love a pair of the 1726 York, i take my Dog for a walk everyday and my shoes and socks always get wet as they are not waterproof, Thanks very much for the chance at Lady Melbourne .♥
Love, love the Kimberly in Chocolate please….
I must admit, I think you have the right idea – these are gorgeous – and a pair of Smoke Tara’s would help me accept Melbourne winters….
The black Sabina looks super sleek and sexy, and it can be paired with anything from my wardrobe! Would love a pair of those, Lady Melbourne! 🙂
I love quality and hand made products which are crafted to last.
The Kimberleys are simply gorgeous but I’d have to go for the Flyer in chocolate – so I can pull them over my jeans without too much struggle. Crossing all my fingers and toes as my uggs are dying and don’t have removable insoles 🙁
With you modelling that Kimberly in chocolate so well, I think I’ll have to go with that! Looks so cosy!
I’d love to win Black Julia boots. They are just amazing and I just reckon I might get away with wearing them everywhere hehehe
I love the Ava in chestnut, thanks LM!
Gee it’s hard to choose but I think you’re into a good thing with those Kimberly boots Lady M! Since moving back to Canberra the bitter cold has been hard to handle and my poor long suffering ugg boots are on their last legs.
P.s I hope you’re feeling better!
I love the Chocolate Kimberley Boots. They look gorgeous and would keep my feet toastie warm.
I would so dearly love a pair of sheepskin boots that my fiancé will be too embarrassed to steal – he has ruined my last few pairs of beautiful winter uggs by squashing his massive feet into them and wearing them in the garden. I showed him the 1341 Kimberley and his response was ‘omg they’re too girly, don’t get them’ – which tells me that they are actually the PERFECT pair to get.
I’d love a pair of the Oxfords, lows or talls, they both look delightful!
I absolutely love the Julia. It’s like you could wear them outside, almost. 😛
No more cold feet.
I like the Julia boot, it looks stylish and warm!
The 13860 Flyer’s are perfect 🙂
The Kimberly in chocolate. They would keep my feet very toasty down here at the beach in Torquay.
Ella is the one I would choose, keeping warm and comfortable while doing the school run every day.
Trapper hat- and the baby booties are so cute!
Hmmmm the ‘supertread tall’ would be so practical for up in the hills over winter! But I love the ‘Julia’ style. ‘Julia’ it is!
Would love the clogs!
It’s a tough choice I love both the Kimberley and Ashley boots!
I would love Yana in black!
Would love the Flyer for around the house!
I love the Julia too…!
Love the clogs – my own little bit of Cambridge!
I see why people love the Julia boots. I love them too!! If I get them, they will discover sunshine! Huzzah for that!
I held my breath for a moment as I gazed at the divine Julia boots. Normally I go for lighter colours over black- but these are stunning! Immediately I started co-ordinating all of the outfits that they would complement (I think they would look stunning with so many of your beautiful dresses too!) Would simply love them -x
I’d wear the Julia around the house, I’d wear them to the shops, they are not like my daggy boots, they are not embarrassing, they are tops!
Love the chocolate Kimberley boots 🙂 They look very warm and comfortable 🙂
I would love the Flyer in Choclate
Kimberley, I love the fluffy bit at the top it adds design and flair to the Ugg! Love <3
I quite fancy the Julia boots, liking the lacing feature at the back:)
Kimberley in chocolate look so warm and cosy, my tootsies would be extremely happy !
I’m sure a pair of ” Albert” slippers would cure my husbands tingly chemo toes, he’s all better except for his chilly frozen feet (maybe he could where them to bed too)
1633 Supertread Tall in black, being a Tassie girl, we need something warm that also covers up the dirt.
Has to be the Supertread Tall. Having lived in Canberra we didn’t have the luxury of choosing whether to keep shoes like this for the house only – and the supertread makes them seem a little more acceptable to wear outside – even if it’s just to hang the washing out. Even though I am in Sydney now I still get cold feet and I’ve worn my old ones out. Desperado!
Ava chestnut:-)
I am in love with the Kimberley boots as they look stylish enough to wear out to Sunday drinks with the girls but also comfy enough to chill indoors with Ben and Jerry’s and the boxset of Sex and the City…. Ideal!
The Ava Boots in Black are so stylish 🙂
Ava in Chestnut; so beautiful so warm yet so cool!!!!!
Kimberley in Chocolate are just awesome
Love the photos sweety 🙂
Oh I love the 7215 Cambridge Sheepskin clog. They look so comfy and warm and I would even let hubby share them ;P
My pick would be the Julia 🙂
Ashley is pretty funky!!
The Julia is gorgeous! I love that you can turn the top down, or leave it up for a totally different look!
It has to be the Kimberley! I keep stealing my husband sheepskin slippers as mine haven’t lasted the winter and I have to do something to keep the peace!
Pretty chocolate Kimberley, you make them look so good!
Oh I adore the 71240 Mel slippers in Sand!
I’m a WA-grown girl living the student life studying Professional Communications at RMIT (budget living in style, of course).
The heating in my flat is a bit touch-and-go, so a pair of durable snuggly slippers would be so welcomed! Whoever wins this will be one lucky lady regardless 🙂
What perfect slippers for this weather! I love to win the 1748 Ava boots in Chestnut! Gorgeous!!
Kimberly chocolate xx they look so sooo comfy and warm
Love the Julia!
Love the Kimberley as well – a little more upmarket than the average ugg.
As for time and place I too am a firm believer that they never ever leave the house 🙂 along with moccasins. Track pants should only be seen following a workout, leggings ARE NOT PANTS and Crocs I have not bought on principal no matter how comfy others say they are:)
Loving your FB page -particularly you trip reports.
By the way I sure hop you don’t do the pointy nail thing……seeing it on many many young girls and IMO it is not very flattering at all…reminds me of witches nails.
You have way more class my dear.
What a great giveaway once again! It would be Kimberley in chocolate for me too!
Love love love these boots! Kimberley in Chocolate is my favourite too.
I would love to win a pair of Tara boots to keep my feet woolly warm this winter 🙂
Kimberley is for me. Not only do my feet feel the cold terribly but my legs also. The cold depresses me 🙁
The Kimberley is beautiful, love the fur trim! I’ve been on the lookout for a new pair of slippers for ages and these look so nice and warm x
Hey lovely lady!
Congratulations on the 4000 likes! I hope you’re recovering from the madness of it all!
I would love to win a pair of the Ava’s. No lie, they would probably cover half of my leg because this little lass doesn’t have much height wise :-p They would definitely keep me warm in our icebox of a home!
xx
Mon
The Kimberley in chocolate. Ive been planning and saving for a US trip for over 4 years and Im so close to going. There has been a small stumbling block but hopefully I will be there in their Winter so I will need something warm and wodnerful to keep my toasty while in NY.
Mmmm how snuggly! I’d choose Julia; I like the rich colour and they don’t look as “chunky” as other woolly boots. I could certainly find a place for them by my open fireplace this winter, snuggled up with our new baby xx
Well hello Lady Melbourne : )
Beautiful stock all through the Canterbury site to behold. I would never have known about this quality brand if it hadn’t been for your post.
I have been buying Peter Alexander sheepskin boots for the last couple of years, but feel their designs are not in fitting with my age group (25) anymore.
The Canterbury range is appropriately chic and practical. I am enamored by the Kimberly Boot, in the chocolate shade you wear so elegantly above.
Thanks for the hot tip LM! x
Tough pick between the Tara and the Artica…hmm!
I absolutely love The Julia. They look such good quality and so warm. Love the adjustable lacing as I have skinny legs. I would live in these all winter, they look soooo cosy and warm, I would have a hard time taking them off, If only I could win a pair of these I would be one very happy little Taswegian. Have all my fingers and toes crossed.
I would love to win the Canterbury Sheepskin Pioneer Slippers
because when my feet are warm my whole body is warm
I absolutely love The Kimberley! So stylish yet look so comfy and cosy 🙂
The Kimberly boot is certainly a strong contender but I can’t go past the Julia boot in charcoal! Sublime!
Love The Kimberley in chocolate the fur around the top makes them look extra toasty warm.
I wish the Tara came in a Reid colour, or if they made a Lindsay Lohan I’d shove my foot into that too
The Kimberley in chocolate, certainly is the best, I think it beats the rest, who can ask for more, please bring Canterbury Sheepskin boots to my door 🙂
It would definitely be the Julia…toasty toes!
Kimberly are my pick
I would love the Julia boots to keep my tootsies toastie all through Melbourne’s long winters.
Julia looks to me the warmest and longest, which would be just beautiful as I feel Its as cold here as in NZ at the moment
love the Julia boots, they would keep most of my legs warm this winter!
kimberly
