I thought I’d give the DIY boyfriend jeans thing a go after trying on a pair at To The Max recently. Not really thinking it would be a trend I could wear given I’m not tall and gazelle like, I was none the less pleasantly surprised by a DRICOPER pair that fit in all the right places.
Anyhow, still not quite convinced or ready to shell out for a pair, I decided to make my own. And by ‘make’ I mean buying some at an op-shop and distressing them. After hunting down a pair of Levi’s that were in mint condition for $6, I set to work with sandpaper, a scalpel and bleach.
And was a single picture taken of the process? Nope!
For $6, you can’t go wrong. I’m actually thinking about buying another pair to distress, photograph and blog about. Would you like to see?
