Today I am grateful for the park that is around the corner from my house. It’s quite large, many people use the tan and run around it (‘tan’ being a sandy/gravel track for overseas readers!), walk their dogs, picnic, play sports and there’s lots of native wild life.
It occurred to me on the weekend as I was lying on the grass looking up into a rather large eucalyptus tree full of rainbow lorikeets how lucky I am to be able to experience this lush, green expanse on a daily basis. It’s well maintained, litter free and a safe place for the public to congregate.
Don’t you think we’re lucky that we live in a country where theses spaces exist?
What are you grateful for this week?

Thank you Jun Hui Ng!
Hi Lady M, I’m happy that you’ve started doing big love Mondays! Love it. Personally, I keep a gratitude journal – a blog – that I write about things that I’m grateful for. And each day, I will jot down three things that I’m grateful for in my work diary.
Today I am extremely grateful that I hold a job, not any job. It’s the job that makes a difference and I thank my lucky stars for that. It’s the job that keeps me warm under my blanket, puts food in my belly and allow me to pursue my hobbies. I’m extremely grateful for this job, for this job is how I met my boyfriend. It means a lot more than just a job.
