Estelle is the creative soul behind the Melbourne label Micky In The Van that she stocks at The Estelle Store in Ivanhoe.
There is much more to see than clothes however in this treasure trove on Upper Heidelberg Rd, where you’ll find jewellery, candles, sunglasses, clothing, bags, scarves and other lovely things for the home. I sort of felt as though I’d walked into someones opulent dressing room with little vignettes of jewellery and clothes curated by Estelle herself.
Her label, Micky In The Van is made in Melbourne which is such a wonderful achievement particularly when we have the likes of Zara, H&M and Uniqlo moving into the Melbourne retail scene.
In these photos I’m wearing two dresses from the label, but you’ll also find other Australian labels that Estelle sources who like her, manufacture in Australia.
If you are in Melbourne it’s absolutely worth a visit, as is the shopping strip where the store is situated with coffee shops, home wares and many other delights.

I’ve not posted about it as yet, but I spied it on Instagram as well! Estelle is amazing, and I think the store is so affordable. You can christmas shop till your hearts content knowing that it was all made if not in Melbourne but Australia xx
Did you post about this dress earlier? I bought it last weekend, inspired by someone’s Instagram/blog, but can’t remember who’s! The dress is AMAZEBALLS!!! Estelle is so lovely (via email) can’t wait to visit the store in person. I feel some hardcore Christmas shopping coming up! xx
