Made in Australia, I was extremely excited to discover Timi’s work, specially at a time in Melbourne where the fashion landscape is changing so much with global high street brands moving in.
Born in Nigeria, Timi draws inspiration from her colourful African heritage and the landscape of her adopted home, Australia. She makes clothes for strong, independent, confident and spirited women and I think it shows in the print of the suit and dress I’m wearing below. Not for the faint hearted, but easily worked into your wardrobe as separates.

Beautiful shots! And the prints are wonderful too. I do miss creativity and risk in today’s fashion. Things are soooo bland and drab, but this is a breath of fresh air!
