Iconic Australian fashion label Romance Was Born showed their collection to close VAMFF, inspired by another Australian icon May Gibbs. Gibbs created the characters ‘Snugglepot and Cuddlepie,’ who were other wise known as ‘gum-nut babies.’
I meant to post this last week but didn’t get around to it, but even though fashion week is well and truly over I think this kind of imaginative representation of fashion is timeless.
