Have I mentioned that I love this dress before? I LOVE THIS DRESS!
I can wear it to so many places, and it didn’t occur to me when Mother Melbourne bought it for me last year to wear to a wedding that I would wear it anywhere else. Normally you just think the ubiquitous LBD is the staple that will be the most versatile item in your wardrobe, but this dress is quickly taking over.

LM, I adore they way you wear a loved item time and again with such pride. With the advent of fast fashion “only being seen once” in an outfit has become so passe. Longevity = Style… and you have it in oodles!

My staple is a jersey cotton scarlet-red wrap dress with 3/4 sleeves that I bought on sale at Wayne Cooper (well under $100) about 5 years ago 3 sizes too big for me – it’s perfect for every occasion! I always throw it on when I’m in one of those “I feel frumpy & I have nothing to wear” kind of days xx

What a perfect dress!! My ‘wear all the time’ piece is a silk shift that my great aunt used to wear – it’s purple and black and has an abstract-y print of a white guitar down the front…sounds a bit bizarre but the flattering cut and quality fabric make it super versatile!
