My blue and white obsession

I find it terribly hard to resist anything blue and white in my life. Porcelain, tea cups, textiles, fashion- anything.

It’s now got to the point where people give me blue and white things as gifts (always grateful!) because they know that it’s a sure fire way to my heart. Just like a bowerbird I pick things up new, second hand, online, at markets or op-shops.

I wonder why we develop a penchant for certain colours over others? I know someone who loves purple to the point where they wear it on their person every single day. I think she’s kind of eccentric, but then I look around my own house…
