These House of Harlow ‘Chelsea’ sunglasses were my sole boxing day sale purchase.
I allow myself one purchase each year so I don’t end up in the shops weeping over an empty bank account and bags full of things I simply don’t need. Last year I bought a Samantha Wills ring from St Frock on sale(see the blog post), and this year I noticed that In Her Shoes Boutique had put these up for the tidy sum of….$50. How’s that for my only bargain buy!
I haven’t owned House of Harlow before but the quality is really high and I’m looking forward to giving these a good workout over summer.
I bought this dress in New York at a vintage store in the East Village. I saw it, tried it on, put it back and then got home and realised it was a pretty good buy for $20USD. Being New York there was every chance it would be gone when I went back for it about five days later, but after combing the store head to toe, I found it.
Meant to be, no?
What I’m wearing:
Dress: Vintage/thrift store, New York
Glasses: House of Harlow
Manicure: Miss Fox Melbourne

They are excellent sunnies! Aren’t the post Christmas sales just gruelling to the resolve and budget? I wish they didn’t happen at the time of year my finances are already a little strained. At least I got the two items I’d been waiting to go on sale at amazing prices, so I can’t complain!
What cute sunnies! I really like that cat eye shape and saw some cat eye shaped glasses from Karen Walker which I am deciding whether to purchase as I am not 100% sure that shape suits my face. But that shape really looks nice on you. Enjoy another hot day today in Melbourne. x.Emilia
