Flamingos & puppies: Love in the Valley

Before we had to leave Brisbane for home this morning, Hayley and I headed to Flamingo cafe for breaky. If you are familiar with Frankie Mag then you can find a nice little write up in this months edition on page 60.
Anyhow, we’d met plenty of charming locals  the night before who said it was the place to have a coffee and it lived up to every expectation that we had.

Just next door to Subfusco is Fabrik Hair on Ann St. Walking past yesterday on our way to visit Josh we spotted the most adorable sharpei asleep in the window of the salon.
Over a cocktail last night I telling someone I’d just met about this adorable dog I’d seen next door to Subfusco. ‘Hold on a minute!’ they replied and within minutes I was sitting next to Bently and Zsa Zsa’s (not pictured) owner.

I couldn’t resist going in today to say hello in person- I could have put little Bently in my pocket and taken him home on the plane with me!
