If this evening’s VAMFF runway is anything to go by, you’ll regularly need thermals, or an extra warm coat at the very least, for autumn/ winter 2016.
Lace, cut-outs, splits and general whimsy are still bang-on trend; but I imagine off the catwalk you’d layer up and pair with opaque tights, a scarf and the aforementioned warm coat.
The detailing is really what these looks – from five very different designers – have in common, with each of them showing their talent via superb applicque, stitching and embroidery. A special mention to the J’Aton boys for the divine BUTTONS.
