New year, new accessories

The comb above was a present for Christmas from Mother Melbourne and I’m really excited about using it. She also gave me my great grandmothers comb below. I’m quite interested it trying it with varying Victorian hairstyles or up do’s. I realise that I won’t be able to recreate them exactly but I have seen some easy enough twists and rolls that should work.

My best friend gave me these gooooooooorgeous bejewelled flats for Christmas and I just love them! I’ve been wearing them with everything of late and I only wish I could tell you where to get them! If she reveals you’ll be the first to know…

  7. Nice gifts LM. I have a similar (but much plainer) french twist comb that you picture at the top, that I purchased from a hairdresser years ago. I use it all the time and used to use it most particularly for my french roll that I had to wear as a flight attendant. Have fun playing with hairstyles.
