So it is with great pleasure that I can let you all know that this year I will be taking short courses at the CAE here in Melbourne on you guessed it- how to blog. It’s not always an easy thing to quantify- what I do and how to make it successful but I’m putting my experience and qualifications together to teach anyone out there the basics of how to start a blog.
In a nutshell, you can expect the following outcomes from the course:
- Understand what a blog is and how it functions
- Formulate a blog name/area of focus
- Choose a blogging platform
- Set up a blog
- Upload photos, format and layout
- Social Media
It’s aimed at beginners but I’m hoping to take some more advanced classes as well if all is successful.

Heya superb blog! Does running a blog like this take a large
amount of work? I have virtually no understanding of computer programming but I had been hoping to start my own blog in the near future.
Anyhow, if you have any ideas or tips for new blog owners please share.

The course isn’t running this year (2012) is it, was unable to find it on the CAE website.
