LMFF day IV: GPO Pret-a-Porter Winter 2011

Day four of LMFF saw me visit Melbourne’s GPO for the Pret-aPorter Winter 2011 Collections. The parade was held in the old Lexington Bar which is now a shell and unused(although not for long I’m told) and it was perfectly intimate for the showing.

I’ve not included every single designer featured but keeping in mind that this is a retail event, here are my picks of the most wearable and eye catching pieces.

Akira

Leona Edmiston. I lurved this dress!

Fleur Wood

Trimapee

Gorman

Alpha60

Belinda

Lisa Ho

Manning Cartell

  1. Such a shame Lexington bar is gone. I saw a show there during fashion week a few years ago when it was still a bar. Very intimate, I agree!

  2. Love the gorman print and that Edmiston dress, absolutely gorgeous! I just wish I could have been there! x

  3. It was lovely to meet you that night! I’ve always loved reading your blog 🙂 x x Estelle (from Fashion Journal)

  4. Absolutely love those shoes with the red heels. They have got to be to die for. Look fantastic with the camel too and could imagine a little navy piece with them or even jeans. Thanks for putting them in our way!

  5. Nice to catch up with you!! I still haven’t done a post but your pic will be in it of course… busy, busy!!

  6. Okay those photos make me wish I had a much bigger bank balance. Some really gorgeous pieces.

  7. I love that Manning Cartell coat however still umm’ing and ahh’ing over whether I’ll get enough use out of it.
