I think it’s fair to say that after four years together we all know I love accessories and the bigger the better. I like to make my own, buy second hand, new, designer- it doesn’t really matter as long as I get the ‘look’ I want. At the moment I’m kind of crazy for all things clear, silver and rhinestone. Which are everywhere so that’s good.
I’ve been meaning to tell you that I went to the Cecylia Boutique collections parade just before fashion week (you can read all about it in this post) and on the night what stood out for me was the pale blue pants featured below. Not being in a position to buy the designer pair I left with the hope that I might find a pair in a chain store or the like. The VERY NEXT DAY I found these at the Salvo’s in Eroll st where I was shopping with Dr. Jones. Talk about asking the universe to provide!!! Oh and the sweetener? They were $12.
I’m wearing:
Sunnies: Op shop
Tee: Cotton On
Mac: Asos
Pants: Salvos
Heels: Vicenza (I wish you could see the heel, it’s all sorts of awesome)
Bag: Asos
Earrings: I made them
Cuff: Minty Meets Munt

whoops – pressed submit by accident. “…but they donโt look right on my fingers and wrists.” I was also going to say that I get nervous about losing too-big bangles that might slip off!
I love big accessories, but I feel as if they overwhelm me sometimes as I’m quite small. On a practical level, I am deeply attracted to big rings and bangles, but they don’t look on my fingers and wrists.
Great photo!
