Bad blogger

So I haven’t updated it almost a week! No excuse! No notification! I am sorry to those of you who check in each and every day and I’ve heard from some of you asking where I am. Well I’m here, I just needed a little break.

This dress is a recent addition to my wardrobe that’s been getting a lot of wear of late. It was second hand so didn’t cost me very much(maybe like $7?) but almost every time I wear it someone comments. Generally it’s on the colour but it’s also kind of satisfying to know that of all the clothes I wear people like my $7 dress. You must have pieces like that in your wardrobes I’m sure.

My money goes into accessories which I’ve talked about plenty of times before here on the blog, with the occasional investment piece thrown in. Even when I want to update my wardrobe, follow a trend or buy a new item, I search vintage and second hand shops and online first, then I go shopping for new clothes. A little bit strange?! I just like to have my own version that no one else has. Well that’s my story and I’m sticking to it. 😉

  5. I love that I see you wear the same items (accessories/clothes/shoes) over and over. They always look fantastic and it makes me feel pretty good about re-wearing my own stuff too!

Your blog offers one thing magazines don’t – a true working wardrobe. That’s something everyone should have!

  7. Apt that you mention the accessories… did you know about this fundraising auction? Designer jewellery – and you get to donate to a worthy cause. As you are well aware, my accessories usually range from about 10c to $5, but I’m prepared to pay more to support disaster victims.
